Marinel and James, the most cherished memory for them is the six year’s love and meticulous care about each other. When they first met at a party at the Rocks, they were 21 and they fell in love with each other immediately. James is Marinel’s first love. At their wedding, they did first look at the Rocks, where James first saw his bride walking towards him in her wedding gown.
Six years can be a long time for people who live hard through mundane life; six years can be a short time as well for those who are in true love, starting from first look and ending up in a whole life marriage.
As two genius designers, Marinel and James designed almost everything for their wedding: the decorations on their wedding cake, chairs at their ceremony, arches at the centennial park and so on. James even made every guest a little cartoon wooden card according to each different guest’s different outstanding features.
We started shooting at a house at Paddington where they got ready for their wedding day. In their room, we were amazed to see so many pretty photos made by them and the letters they wrote to each other, which acts the best witness of their six years’ true love. The ceremony was held at pine grove at centennial park, and the dinner party was held at the old library in Cronulla.
James is Marinel’s ‘oven’. Marinel is James’s ‘fridge’.
Oven and Fridge, we all wish you from our deepest heart a very happy wedding and enjoy your sweet life together!
