Southern Highlands never ceases to amaze us and so when Andy suggested Belanglo State Forest, we knew we were for a treat. As wedding photographers, nothing pleases us more than to hit outdoors and capture the wonders of nature. Before going into details about the photoshoot let us introduce the couple, Adriana and Alex.
Both Adriana and Alex are based in Sydney. Adriana or Andy works as a dental assistant and Alex runs a truck business. They make an interesting pair with their love for the wild, pets, and passion for life.
Yes, that’s what struck us most when we met this couple. Probably, it’s their love for life and to cherish the small things brought them together three years back and made them fall in love with each other. Are we missing out someone? Yes, Bruce, their pet dog who is an important part of this loving family.
Southern Highlands engagement photo session
For the engagement session, both Alex and Andy chose to go casual. While Andy wore a printed dress in black and red, Alex chose khaki trousers and a blue shirt. They looked cool in their attire. We took several photos of the forest and have begun the album with one of them. Serene but mysterious, the forest welcomed us to explore it and we followed suit.
Look at Alex and Andy along with Bruce, bonding in the wood. The couple is comfortable being themselves and didn’t hold back their emotions. This led to a few candid shots that will make you feel romantic.
As a Sydney wedding photographer, my favorite shots are the ones where the sunlight streamed through the leaves creating lovely halos. Hence, you will a few of these in this wedding engagement album, of course, with the couple and the Bruce adding warmth to the shots.
Alex and Andy went on exploration, with us closely on their heels. They walked along the narrow paths through the woods, checking out the flora and occasionally getting close. Their unhindered love showed up in the shots, so romantic, so real, just perfect for any engagement snaps.

Based in Sydney, the bride to be, Adriana, works as a dental assistant, and her fiance runs a truck company. Having been in love for over three years, the pair share the same passion in driving an four wheels ute for outing. Common scenic spots are not in the cards for them, as they prefer more adventurous experiences with exploration. In these engagement photos, you can see, their dog, cute Bruce, is more than a pet for them but a vital family member.
It’s an pleasant engagement shoot in Belanglo State Forest which is located in the Southern Highlands. Both of them are caring and considerate, although robust in appearance. Moreover, they never held their emotion in even if in front of the camera. Spoiled by each other, Adriana and Alex relax and enjoy themselves in the relationship, and that is reflected naturally in the engagement photos.
