Deckhouse wedding of Livia and Daniel – when love crosses boundaries

 

As a wedding videographer, we get the unique opportunity to become a part of the most important event of people’s lives. We also feel lucky to witness different cultures and traditions. As for example, as Sydney wedding videographers, we shot the Deckhouse wedding of Livia and Daniel. Let’s meet them.

 

Livia and Daniel – when love transcends borders

Livia is a vivacious girl from Vietnam, her groom, Daniel is Korean. This cross-border love has bloomed with time and finally, they got united permanently in a Korean wedding held at Deckhouse. As their wedding videographer, we made sure that we capture all the major events of the marriage. The tea ceremony is an integral part of South-east Asian weddings and in this Deckhouse wedding also we had an elaborate tea ceremony.

The Deckhouse is a modern wedding venue with a simple but elegant look. We began the video with the usual shots of the bride getting ready. Look at Livia! She is such a beautiful woman. You can also have a glimpse of her wedding gown, a pristine white one that hung on to her svelte body making her look sensuous.

You must have noticed the Avengers figures? Well, Livia is a huge fan of them and so Daniel and the groomsmen wore Avengers cufflinks. This gesture was very touching and was one of the most loving memories of this Deckhouse wedding. Livia wrote a long letter to Daniel expressing her feelings. With a touch of humor, she revealed how lucky she is to have him in her life.

As per the custom, Livia wore a red dress for the tea ceremony and looked radiant in it. This ceremony is held privately with only close relatives attending it. They blessed the would-be couple, had tea together and also gave them gifts. You can see how Livia and Daniel performed all the customs and sought the blessings of the elders.

The wedding ceremony was held at the All Saints Parish Church, Hunters Hill. It looked impressive with its stone structure and stained-glass windows. After the wedding, the newlyweds got into traditional Korean attire and had a tea ceremony. There was a first dance, a huge cake, and lots of fun at the Korean wedding of Livia and Daniel.
