A memorable day for the Sydney wedding photographer

For us, Sydney photographers, each project brings a new challenge to go off the beaten path and surpass ourselves. We did the same with the engagement photoshoot of Gina and Paul. As the Sydney wedding photographer, it is our responsibility to know our clients and create wedding albums that suit their lifestyle. Hence, we sat with Gina and Paul and came to know that they want their engagement album to look different. They didn’t want it to be dreamy or too romantic. So, we headed to a warehouse to shoot their album.

Engagement photos of Gina and Paul

A warehouse with its iron gates, open yards, and machinery is an interesting place. It can become the perfect backdrop to shoot engagement photo sessions. Therefore, we chose this location and the photos testify our choice.

Gina and Paul wore color-coordinated but simple outfits for the shoot. While Gina decided to go for a simple black dress, Paul chose a black formal suit. The first shot is in front of a rusted window that makes the shot so unique. You can see how Gina is smiling, clearly showing her happiness.

As the couple moved through the warehouse, checking its nooks and corners, we kept on clicking photos. Gina was open to experimentation and hence wore a white veil. She looked so radiant in it.

As the day rolled by, we discovered new spots to film the couple. Gina changed into a white dress and they headed for the open yard where light and shadow created excellent artwork. We couldn’t miss the opportunity and hence shot the couple in black and white mode. Being a Sydney wedding photographer, we still love the timeless appeal of black and white photos. Taken from closeup, a few of these photos look so ethereal.
The day was coming to an end and consequently, we had to wrap up. We took the last snaps of this engagement session by the waterfront. The clear blue sky, the deep blue water, and the couple immersed in love, together we got a few shots that will appeal to everyone. You cannot have an engagement shoot without a kiss and so Paul sealed Gina’s mouth with a loving kiss that became the highpoint of the day.
We hope you will love this engagement photo session of Gina and Paul and bless the couple wholeheartedly.
